Do any of you write episode reviews/ratings?

Either capsule or full reviews, or even simply a score out of 5 or 10?

It's something I've been thinking about doing, so I was wondering if any of you had that same compulsion.

I don't write exactly "formal" reviews but for some shows I do like to write my thoughts down and the aspects that I enjoyed/hated just for posterity in order to look back years from now when I rewatch the series to see how my opinions have changed.

Actually, my favorite threads on this board were the "Episode Ratings" ones done by a poster named Gold Grizzly. I enjoyed adding my reviews as well as reading the other reviews of other posters.

I wrote a short review of each Voyager episode as I watched them in a marathon a couple years ago. I do give each episode a score of Excellent, Good, Tolerable, or Bad, and I rank them within the series as I watch them. When I finish DS9, I will compile a master rankings list showing how I think each episode stacks up against the other 700+ episodes.

alchemist and I write synopses/reviews of scripts (some quite early, some later) detailing the differences between what was on the page and what finally ended up on the air.

Back in the summer of 2001, or thereabouts, I considered writing reviews for the upcoming ENT on someone else's website when the advertised here, but he wanted to see a sample review first, such as a review of Endgame -- VOY's finale -- then I hesistated and thought to myself I might even stop watching ENT like I mostly stopped watching VOY in the last two seasons and ultimately declined.

Good thing too becase I actually did stop watching ENT after the first few weeks.

I guess I've sort of written informal reviews for The Cage (TOS), Operation -- Annihilate!" (TOS), Obsession (TOS), The Magicks of Megas-Tu (TAS) and Broken Bow (ENT) but that's it.
