In my university, one of my coworkers in the computer lab believed that Russia landed on the Moon first, but since they had no way to get their astronaut back they covered it up. Perhaps its those Moon landing tapes you are looking for??
Can I have some of what you're smoking? - I need a good break from reality.https://cosmicbook.news/disney-resetting-star-wars-erasing-last-jedi
All sequels to be erased from continuity due to civil war between Kennedy and Favreau. The mechanism used to reboot them will be an alternate universe type of setup first seen in Rebels.
Then what? Then maybe they will make a trilogy where Han and Luke don't die, and no character assasinations as was done to them in these movies. That upstart Rey could just be a Jedi in Luke's (successful) order instead of the new Jedi founder. They could bring back Lando so he'd be in all three this time. And (hopefully) no ressurrected Palpatine. And as for Carrie Fisher, no, the "deepfakes" in Rouge One didn't bother me a bit. Bring them on. Might be necessary anyway since Harrison Ford would never agree to play Han again. His deepfake wouldn't be all that hard to recreate. In short make a sequel trilogy that has a coherent story.Cool. Then what?
See, that's the problem with these types of "news." Everyone is convinced that decanonizing the ST somehow fixes everything...except it doesn't. They are not going to remake the ST, unless fans will be happy with deep fake Carrie Fisher.
So, and seeing this rumor around internet just begs the question, what does this accomplish? What does this change?
Well, that would work too.Even if Disney does for whatever reason decide to move away from the ST, they won't "reboot" it; they'll just quietly ignore it, the same way they've been doing with the prequels.
We have that...it's called the EU before Disney. Then what? Then maybe they will make a trilogy where Han and Luke don't die, and no character assasinations as was done to them in these movies.
Which is what...exactly? Did they film an entire trilogy in secret and have been sitting on it like the real moon landing tapes?![]()
That's what they want you to think !Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford are still alive!
What a weird question... Then they will obviously make something completely different so we can demand that they reboot it.

Not only is it a ridiculous notion but it's a barn burner attitude towards a product others enjoy. "I don't like it so therefore it must be destroyed" is such a bizarre attitude and I'm probably asking too much for people to give me a rational explanation as to why go forward with such an idea. It's a ridiculous notion, it's not going to happen, and all the wishful thinking on this board won't change that.

Or fan fiction.
In either case, to quote Padme "We live in the real world." And I can't imagine this world where LFL is going to drop more millions to satisfy fan ego.
Call me crazy.
