Well the voice in michael’s suit didn’t sound like her. So either it is a surprise, or she’s Discovery’s voice, or not happening.

I was tempted to think it sounded a bit like Marina Sirtis, the other Computer Voice contender a lot of people around here were hoping for, but nope, it's not her either.

The pretension is...well, okay, pretty much Trek-normal.

More and more I'm thinking that this stuff is supposed to be reassuring marketing for Trekkies. If it turns out that this is what the series is actually like, it's going to be a snoozer.

Strongly getting the feeling that the USS Discovery is an experimental, one-way (or suicide) mission with a ship load of star fleet misfits and cast-offs. Doesn't make me want to see it any less.
