Discovery in Variety

On the Disco....

I find unlikely they have a cloak.
Yeah, it may not be as advanced as later cloaks, but I do think it'll be something like silent running or stealth technology. It may well be that the events of this series explain why the Federation doesn't pursue true cloaking devices.

But again, Klingons in the TOS era timeframe didn't have cloaks (did you ever see Kor or Kang or Koloth ever wearing a cloak in their scenes?).

No cloaks = no cloakroom either. ;)
Well obviously you can't see a cloaked cloak. I mean, duh.

That "kinda, sorta, tangentially" reminds me of this joke (that I tell every chance I get, because of the joke's metaphysical nature):

Two penguins are on an iceberg.
The first says to the second, "You know, it looks like you're wearing a tuxedo."
The second penguin replies, "What makes you think I'm not?"

Therefore, the cloaks are cloaked, which would convey the idea that the enclosure used to store said invisible garments would also be cloaked.

So the cloak room for the cloaked cloaks is also cloaked.
