^^^Here we are in the transporter room, and these are all interactive, these sliders actually work. You know, I watched O’Brien many times.
"Sometimes you have to let art flow over you"-Nick CarltonArt is like a joke: You shouldn't have to explain it.
Wow, thanks for that. What an interesting read! The amount of thought, creativity and work that went into the making of those sets, graphics and costumes is simply astounding. And the size of those sets sounds massive. The idea to have the Discovery sets permanently double for the Shenzhou sets seems cool, too. I'm looking forward to how this will feel on the show. All of this just whets my appetite for the Art of book they should be publishing about the creation of the show.More detailed coverage of the production panel with some of their rationale.

I mean, Disney/Lucasfilm kind of said the same stuff about Lucas and The Force Awakens, before he went and compared them to white slavers and revealed he had nothing to do with the film. What's also of note is the huge impact Bryan Fuller's original involvement with the show still apparently has on all the creative departments. They mentioned him several times throughout the panel.
Sure, Fuller's an eccentric guy, the usual creative type. But he's certainly not as off his rocker as Lucas is.I mean, Disney/Lucasfilm kind of said the same stuff about Lucas and The Force Awakens, before he went and compared them to white slavers and revealed he had nothing to do with the film.
Not saying it'll be the same with Fuller, his story outlines are at least being used by the writing staff, but I felt a similar sense of bitterness from his interview with EW.
and revealed he had nothing to do with the film.

Power outage. They have to light candles.Black Alert?
The ability to cloak? The use of the “new way to fly”? Or the reaction of the alt-right upon seeing a black woman as the star of the show perhaps?Black Alert?
Neither the Feds or Klingons should have Cloaking tech on their ships at this time in the 23rd century. The ability to cloak? The use of the “new way to fly”? Or the reaction of the alt-right upon seeing a black woman as the star of the show perhaps?![]()
Yeah, silent running was my first thought.Could be a low powered stealth mode, not a cloak.
But it could be that, too.Or the reaction of the alt-right upon seeing a black woman as the star of the show perhaps?
No evidence for this, but I'm thinking it means they've got a cloaking device and go into black alert when it's activate. It alerts crew to do nothing that compromises the cloak.Which apparently isn't 100% true, there are still some things in the movie he helped with before JJ came on.
"we can have different looks, the different red alerts, black alerts, and yellow alerts."
Black Alert?
Black Alert?
Black Alert?
You mean Pike...right?That's the one they changed to "Double Red" by Kirk's time.![]()
