News Rob and Michele Reiner found dead

What a bizarre and ultimately tragic family self-destruction, and it stole from us a relatively nice, very prolific director in the Hollywood business.

We're very likely still in a "dark" basic era with the treatment of mental and personality disorder issues (perhaps still at the equivalent of medical science not understanding bacteria and viruses yet).

How did he become a drug addict? What drugs?

It feels like to simple a solution to say he did drugs and stabbed them.

I see lots of people doing marijuana, and they're not going around stabbing people.

Charlie Sheen hasn't stabbed his parents, and he's come out that he did a lot of coke. Stephen King has also come out about addictions problems, and he hasn't stabbed anyone.

I'm curious about the behind the scenes motive. The fact that a knife was used is also pretty grim.

Drug abuse can lead to schizophrenia. Responsible drug use doesn't, it's the abuse. Of course this is a broad generalisation; Everybody has a different tolerance to drugs, some people can try marijuana once and have a psychotic break while others can use daily and only damage their short term memory. Some people like Charlie Sheen have an unusually high tolerance. Also some people can never do drugs and just have a bad day that leads to a psychotic break if they have a neurotic personality type to begin with.

This is such a terrible thing to happen :(

My favourite films of his are probably The Princess Bride and When Harry Met Sally, but special mention also to The Sure Thing, just because it's a film I've loved since the 80s and a film that means a lot to me.

DJT truly is one of the vilest human beings on the planet isn't he

that and the fact that leaders keep talking about addressing MH, then at the same time cut funding and resources...MH has become a political tool
