dinosaurs for a movie(like distant origin voyager episode)

I was watching the voyager episode distant origin the other day. This is the episode with the dinosaurs that evolved from life on earth and went to colonize and area of the delta quadrant. Ive always loved that episode and wondered why the never used these beings in another episode. What would you think of them trying to have aliens like them in a movie with the classic crew in the abrams trek universe? Mabey they could have come to the conclusion that they did originate from earth on their own and sent an invasion force towards the federation(albeit at an earlier time). thoughts and feedback.:borg:

I don't like those. How about real dinosaurs? Enterprise goes a billions of years into the past by accident... Good story for Star Trek XIV.

That's about the only VOY episode I really like.

Whether it would make a good movie is hard to say. You could have a hyper-evolved dino on two feet fight Kirk on a planet and it'd be Arena all nu!

In the real world, if dinosaurs evolved into sentient species, they would look like Xindi avians would have looked. So I'd vote for the inclusion of Xindi avians or other kind of avian species instead of dinosaurs. Some flying sentient species on board the Enterprise would be an improvement...
