Did Voyager Just Fail to Adapt The Changing Landscape of Televsion

No I just don't like mysteries, whodunnits, detective anything. I was reading Edgar Rice Burroughs at the same time, that took. Of course Christie is a vastly superior writer. If only the murders had taken place on a space ship instead of trains etc.. she might have converted me to mysteries as a genre.

I think I always resented/was bored by traditional mysteries because I just didn't care about who did it or why or where the necklace was hidden. What I failed to understand was that it wasn't about caring, it was about a love of unraveling, of deduction.

Everyone?

Cocaine was mostly legal everywhere in the world until the 1930s.

Cocaine wasn't removed from Coca Cola until 1903.

1920 Cocaine is banned in the UK under the Dangerous Drugs Act, following stories of 'crazed soldiers' in WWI.
1928 Cannabis added to the list of proscribed substances in the Dangerous Drugs Act.

Banned doesn't stop anyone chasing the dragon who thinks that they are above the law.

Tenchlife in WW1 is a lot more Trainspotting than I had been led to believe.

I wonder if cocaine helped the soldiers ignore mustard gas?

No one has straight cocaine.

It will kill you.

You have to cut it.

Depending on how wealthy you are or are not determines what ratio of cocaine to something pleasant (or something less pleasant if you are not wealthy) that you will be snorting.

Google google...

Hell yeah, while even cut up cocaine could kill an inexperienced user, 100% pure cocaine is EXTREMELY Potent. The pure crystallized powder chemical will kill Anyone even experienced users if you do more than 2 Insuffilated Lines. drug dealers that claim their drugs are pure are full of it, its really difficult to do that. and as for you people that think that the "cut" is more dangerous you're dead wrong. the pure product will send you over the edge. and about your purity estimates you are correct, as most cocaine even the Kilos that come from Columbia are either contaminated with the chemicals used for processing or other alkaloids from the E.Coca Plant. then when it arrives here for distributing it goes through a long line of people each of them reducing its purity down until the user gets his hands on it, but by then its about 30% purity. that is the stuff most people get thinking its pure HA! but that's cocaine you can cut it up the butt and it is still that additive and powerful, Now imagine the real pure stuff and you'll get an idea.

But then, in 1900, when The Knick is set, Cocaine is a liquid Clive Owen abuses himself with with a needle between his toes.

The Knick is very dull.

So does that mean it's critically acclaimed and loved by the cool kids. Am I gonna have to sit and listen to my friends bang on about it for months before I finally give in and watch it and have to pretend I thought it was a ife changing experience too but secretly think it was actually not that good

It's Breaking bad all over again (yeah that's right, I went there.....I think breaking bad is just.....mildly good.....what of it)

You don't have to pretend. You can yell "Breaking Bad sucks" before you shove them to the ground an walk away.

Options!

The Knick aired on Cinemax between August and October last year.

If this is the first you are hearing about it, you're probably safe.

The second episode of Better Call Saul the other day was outstanding.

Breaking Bad is unkillable.

As Phlox would say: "Will you kindly die?"
