Yeah, they were right next to Earth at the end of Endgame, and his illness was a slow-progressing one, so he was probably fine.

He becomes Titans tactical officer, and third in command. His wife also joins him onboard.

If you watch Endgame part 2, Tuvok stated to Captian Janeway that he doesn't start feeling the side effects not until a few months later. So ya, he was still fine during the rest of endgame part 2 after he found out that he has a disease and doesnt' feel the side effects yet right away and not until several months later as stated above.
I'm sure he did get cured once they got home at the end of Endgame way before he would have started feeling the side effects.
In the novel Homecoming, which picks up directly after "Endgame," Tuvok's son coming to mindmeld with him and cure his condition is one of the first things that happens after their return (starting on page 7, in fact).

Actually, "quite satisfactory" or else "sufficient" 
^ The novels are, no offense to our authors on the TrekBBS, not that great. I forced myself to finish the first duology and stopped in the middle of the second because it wasn't that great either.

I have read quite a few of the Voyager books and have enjoyed them all so far. One of my favorites is Mosaic, which is the life story of Captain Janeway.
[pedantic]Which is Jeri Taylor's version of the life story of Janeway. Not the same thing (though some elements of it became canon while Taylor was VOY's Executive Producer).[/pedantic]

Didn't care for Christie Golden's post-VOY novels either, at least as far as I read. (I did like most of her earlier stuff, especially The Murdered Sun and Marooned.) But it was good to see her pick up continuity when it came to taking care of poor old Tuvok.
