I thought that was pretty well done the way they did it. Something tells me Mogo's consciousness will survive as a pebble that will slowly grow or something.

Probably not.

It was going to happen eventually since Mogo was dead in the Legion future and thats suppose to be the one true future.

Yep. Mon-El is currently the wielder of the Power Battery and ring of the GL Corps and has been hanging with a funky little blue alien entity called Dyogene (which has yet to be explained exactly what he is and his connection to the Power Battery) no other GL's are alive in the Legion future.

So if Mogo's dead, however temporarily it may be, who will be responsible for sending out new rings once the current issues with the GLC get cleared up? I recall that was one of the major focal points of the Sinestro Corps War, they wanted to use Ranx to take out Mogo because of his importance.
