Did anyone else find changeling Bashir to be really creepy in this scene?

A lot of the changeling infiltration stuff was creepy... in a "you don't know who you can trust" sort of way. Which was the whole point. Some damn good allegory and storytelling I think.

I find Bashir to be creepy.

The character is- in my opinion the absolute worst of the worst of any character on any ST series. The actor is just terrible, he's hard on the eyes, and the character's whiny self-righteousness is nauseating and I hate that ridiculous accent. They attempted to replace Beverly Crusher because she was boring and poorly acted, and even she wasn't as bad as this guy.

I wouldn't be going off on him again, but I'm watching DS9 right now and as usual, his whiny "kamandah, kaMANdah" every two seconds irritated me and now I have to fast-forward the doctor scenes.

Siddig is a good actor, but I think that when the script calls for a certain amount of over-acting, he went straight to Calculon mode.

Yes! Super creepy! I adore Dr. Bashir, but the Bashir changeling had me feeling the heebiest of jeebies the whole time I was watching him.

It could just as easily be argued that the Changeling felt that was what Bashir was really like.
