I'm tired of men claiming they won't or don't watch "chick flick." You want to know what the biggest ''chick flick' released this year was? Deadpool. Deadpool dedicated more time to developing the relationship between Wade and Vanessa, the emotional bonding and everything that goes with it with her and the other characters then all the violence in the film. It's like 3 to 1 in terms of minutes in the movie. So I laugh at your rhetoric of I don't enjoy "chick flicks" because you do, only when it's wrapped in a condom of violence.

...because you do, only when it's wrapped in a condom of violence.
Nice turn of a phrase. But is the relationship somehow contained and the effects prevented? It doesn't fit. The simile, I mean - not the condom.

I have seen the Notebook. The big takeaway for me was why the heck does everyone cry at this movie, why is it considered sad? I don't get it.

Which tears? Some guppy brains cry the whole way through, others keep it tight till right at the end when the kindly Nurse kills them both, unless Noah paid her off to make a hit?

Nope, it is not a tragedy. They transcended reality and went to heaven, TOGETHER.

You know that tears are produced sometimes when people are happy?

When Delenn shows up with a Minbarri Warfleet to save the day, in Severed Dreams, I'm fucking bawling, usually.

Yes, that's me. I cry when things are JUST SO GODDAMN AWESOME I'M GONNA DIE. That scene, "ALL THIRTEEN!" from Day of the Doctor, and so on.

I cried when Aragorn kneeled and said to Frodo and the rest, " you bow to no one."

In those big crowd scenes - I have always wondered what the dude in the far edges of the crowd is thinking. He can't see anything, he can't hear anything - so he has to wonder "Why are we getting down on our knee? My knee hurts! I just killed 300 orcs and I need to get back to my burnt out fields and home so my kids won't starve this winter. Can I go now?"

The Novel Final Frontier is all about Robert April's Enterprise on it's maiden flight into Romulan Space and how his bad ass Chief of Security, George Kirk saves the day.

The new timeline is nice, but I feel like this story have been stolen from me. :(
