Just saved for the web via Photoshop and saved as a jpg and a setting around 50 or 60 and it brought it down from 2MB to around 206KB.

Thanks for the Vote!!!

Got mine to upload, under "J. D. Ford" #613. Not sure I like how we have to vote on craptastic thumbnails, though.

Im kinda glad I can't participate in this now. This thing is more corrupt and broken than an election.

I REALLY hope someone at cryptic knows what is and what isnt pre-existing designs. And if a kit-bash wins, im gonna loose it.

Man, I really want to enter, but until they get a "browse all" function, it's really a crapshoot that any particular image gets seen.

Intriguing concept. What's your rationale for two engineering hulls and two pylon connections to each nacelle? Forgive my asking, but I can't help examining the functional aspects of a design as well as its form.

My first thought would be that the oval formed by the pylons is actually part of the warp propulsion system, perhaps some new spin on the old Vulcan technology.

Another very interesting approach. I'm guessing that the front of the ship is to the left, correct? The first question that brings to mind is, why do you even have an engineering hull if the engines aren't connected to it? And if it's not an engineering hull, what is it and why does it need to hang back there like a fresh kill in an eagle's talons?

Food for thought: What if you keep the same configuration but reverse the orientation so the front of the ship is to the right?

I might use the upper hull as a thru-deck shuttlebay...

Since I am calm down, sorry if my last post seemed like a rant. But I consulted with a laywer friend and found out why the the state of TN is exempt form the contest. Because it is considered unlawful under TN state law that
any contest that gives away any merchandise or cash in a contest online is considered under state law as online gambling. But if the contest is held in the state of TN it would be not be considered as online gambling.

I really don't like the way they've set up the site. It's so...sketch. One thing I've noticed...a lot of designs are really close to the Sovvie. I hadn't been expecting that (suppose I should have, though). Some ARE the Sovvie, cut and pasted into having four nacelles in MSPaint.

Posers. :p
