Hey

Thought I would just create a thread,in which I can put out all my fan art, much like others who have done the same, rather than starting new ones for individual stuff.

So going forward everything will be in here!

Starting with these.

Based on an idea i posted in the thread that was asking where the series could go! This was mine, although I have tweeked it from the OS era to the NG era. Kinda passing the tourch of the Captain of the Enterprise.

Thanks. I am going for my own style but it would be foolish for me to say that I am not influenced by my favourite animation series, of which Family Guy is one. so maybe that can creep into my work a bit.
The name of the ship is Swiftwind, I did for this project http://www.trekbbs.com/showthread.php?t=265843 as a way to practice. It has been a number of years since I had drawn anything, up until last August when i started to get back into it so I am still very rusty. So drawing and doodling as much as I can to get me back up to scratch.

What's your process for creating these? The final product looks digital, but do you hand draw and scan, or what?

The first batch was drawn direct on an Ipad using Sketchbook. But I purchased a Wacom Cintiq Tablet and draw direct using that. Im still a bit old school so I do use pencil and paper to map out and roughly draw what I want. Then I take a photo of it and get it on my computer. Then I draw it digitally. So all the above was hand drawn.
