Ah too bad...at least they gave us an episode that serves as a series finale. It does take the sting out somewhat.
I'm sorry to hear the cancellation, though I'm not entirely surprised given the events in the last episode. But I'm glad they chose that path and made it a viable finale in case they decided not to pursue the next season.

Glad to see I'm not the only Dominion fan on the boards. That cancellation pissed me off.

Damn. Not entirely unexpected, and the show did wrap itself up in an excellent manner, and indeed I did say in my review of the finale that it would be better to end the show that way then ruin a perfect series finale. But still, damn all the same. I sure am going to miss this show.
Does this mean the awful game will also die? Good because I gave up on the game 4 weeks ago.

I was watching some older eps of Murdoch over the long weekend and Trenna Keating (Doc Yeoul) made a couple of appearances.
Grant Bowler can head back to Australia to do the narration for Boarder Security but he seems to keep busy enough.
Haha I didn't realize till recently that the narrator on Bordem Security was Grant Bowler.
He also did the Australian version of The Amazing Race which I find oddly enough not as much fun as the USA version..

I read on IGN that the game will continue.
I don't know why the game will continue it's not a big money maker for Trion. In fact it's been a headache for them.
Plus in over a year there has been no new content, just reskinned regular enemies then advertised as new content that's just plain lazy on the part of the devs...
I'm well into Skyforge now and loving that to bits.

I planned the game for a few days and thought it was OK. I'll say right now that with the show over I have no intention of ever going back it.
Syfy could really confuse the hell out of people and make a series based on Defiance.
Technically I've also seen the series referred to as The Courier's Daughter..... but that ruins the joke, so we can just ignore that bit of information....

Don't forget the Daniel Craig movie also titled "Defiance"
There was also a 1980 film named Defiance. I only bring that up because for some reason, my cable service's TV guide menu kept providing synopsis and cast listing of that in the timeslot of when this Defiance was on this past summer. That got annoying right away, let me tell you. It was fixed by the third episode, but still.
I'm very unhappy about the cancellation.
