Welcome to the December 2018 Fan Art Forum Challenge! Better late than never.
Here's the idea:
Whether you are celebrating Christmas or not, most people around the world (and the galaxy, I would think) enjoy the practice of giving gifts to their family, friends and loved ones. So let's imagine a great game of Secret Santa going on in the Star Trek universe!
Here's how it works:
Pick any character from Star Trek lore and have them get a gift for another Trek character and show us what that gift looks like. So for example, illustrate the Best of Klingon Opera collection Jadzia is getting for Worf, show us the handcrafted Native American gimmick Chakotay has made for Kathryn (or Seven of Nine, ugh), or render the bottle of vintage Saurian Brandy Spock has gift-wrapped for McCoy. It's completely up to you.
I'm setting the deadline for your entries to the last day of the month but maybe we'll continue the submission phase into the new year, since we're so late with this contest. We'll decide then.
The Rules™ (from the Art Challenge Guidelines):
Merry Christmas and have fun!

- only one final image can be submitted (although it may contain multiple views)
- your final entry should be posted in this thread (although dedicated WIP threads are appreciated)
Merry Christmas and have fun!
