DC's New 52: Reviews and Discussion (Spoilers welcolme and likely)

Yeah, Hal got a ring separate from Sinestro's there, but had his encounter with Black Hand immediately after that, leading to where he is now. There's not time any way you swing it. There was no time between Brightest Day and War of the Green Lanterns, either. The storyline with Hal hunting the entities led directly in to WotGL. Unless Justice League's second arc took place directly after Blackest Night, which it really couldn't have neatly, we're just going to have to accept screwed continuity for Green Lantern. It wouldn't be the first time that the New 52 has asked us to accept that.

Have you read the Indigo arc yet? I ask because that involved a change to Hal's ring, and I'd be glad to put that sort of thing in spoiler code if you'd prefer. I'm just not entirely sure it would be considered such or not.

Well, the spoiler warning's in the thread title. One needs to read with caution.

Hal didn't get a new ring IIRC, rather the power dynamic between the master ring and its construct was transferred--which is why Simon has a ring with a personality disorder.

Might be Charles McNider or Pieter Cross. Looks like his mask has lenses and he's shooting blackout bombs from his gun.

I know, but I figure that on this world in which Bruce and Selina got together and there is no Batman anymore, who else would take over the cowl but John Blake?

Because John Blake has no connection to the Golden Age heroes.

Dick Grayson
Charles McNider
Pieter Cross
Charlie Bullock

Jesus Christ, have you no joy in your soul?
Not sure what you mean. I enjoy Earth 2 very much. It's one of the books I look forward to the most each month. I also enjoyed the character of John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises. But the character of Blake does not fit in with the premise of Earth 2.
