I figured the lack of Kendra reincarnating is the reason Carter had no memories to begin with when Savage found him. He's broken.
Booster's last name is Carter. Michael Jon Carter.Rip Hunter is "Michael".
Michael Gold Jr, or does Rip hide out as Booster Gold in the 80s for a while?
Booster's last name is Carter. Michael Jon Carter.
I'm not proposing a connection between Rip, Booster and Carter, just correcting Guy, Sometimes characters have similar names. The original Black Canary is Dinah Drake. Robin III is Tim Drake. AFAIK, they aren't related. Kyle Raynor and Selena Kyle aren't connected either.Although, of course, the character Carter Hall was created many decades before Booster Gold.
Didn't they establish Michael as Rip Hunter's birth name in "Refuge"?

Only in the Wold-Newton Universe.Wait, next you'll be telling me that Margo Lane (from "The Shadow") and Lois Lane aren't related . . . .![]()
I dion't get how the team missing for 150 years is solidified.
As long as they still have their time machine and remain alive there is always the possibility to return to 2016.
Of course they can visit a future where they were missing for that long, but that timeline should be incredibly easy to avoid if they so choose.
Yes, I get that. As long as they do not return and just skip to the future, all they would see is a future where they didn't return, because they haven't yet.
But they keep saying that this would be immutable and there would be nothing they could do about it.
Extracting their younger selfs might be different, cause that would mean a major paradox.
Though Flash hast established the concept of time remnants remaining, until the remnants catch up to the paradox, which kinda contradicts Legends a bit.
Maybe their is a difference between speedster time travelers and space ship time travelers.
Boy, where are the Time Lords when you need them? XD
There's definitely a difference between them. The two shows really don't follow the same rules at all. Barry's literally interfered in the exact same moment multiple times.
But has caused problems when he's done so. There's at least a loose consistency to the idea that interfering in your own past creates more problems than it solves, although in the Flash's case they're more personal problems than universe-collapsing-on-itself problems.
They do very much use different means of time travel. Rip Hunter and co. are not traveling through the Speed Force when jumping through time, but are instead riding through some sort of extradimensional space seemingly unrelated to it.But if that´s how it works, it makes Rip look like a moron for valuing the integrity of his personal life over taking a chance to stop Savage for good.
Plus there´s the matter of the Time Wraiths, who are somehow completely irrelevent to LoT, and the Time Masters, who somehow never interfere with Speedsters, and the fact that Reverse Flash managed to survive being erased from history, yet the Time Masters solution for the LoT gang is to erase them from history. I could probably think of more if I really dug through them, but I think it´s pretty clear Flash´s time travel is a whole different kettle of fish from LoT.
A male in his late-20s to mid-30s is being sought to play a guy who grew up in the shadow of his World War II hero grandfather and has used a Han Solo-like facade to conceal his insecurity — until, that is, the development of super powers enables him to love up to his family legacy.
Also being cast for Legends Season 2 is the female member of an elite paramilitary team living in the 1940s. An African-American, she is scrutinized in her time for both her gender and race and thus has worked twice as hard to be a perfect soldier. That said, she blames herself for — and aims to avenge — the death of a team member for whom she had repressed feelings.
