They do have a spaceship...in a timeline in which Kryptonians never came to Earth. She could be interested in seeing if Krypton is still around in their universe.

Here's another preview for the crossover:

I was right -- Thea is getting back into costume as Speedy.

Felicity's "Best team up ever" line really irks me.

And there's more! Here's a full 2-minute trailer for the crossover:

Really interesting shot at about 1:23 -- the heroes lined up on stage before an an audience of people in suits and military uniforms, with a woman at a podium bearing what looks like... the presidential seal? Hmm.

wow. That trailer has really got me excited for this crossover event.

Seeing all these superheroes team up against a big threat makes me think that this crossover is like the Justice League movie of the Berlantiverse.

Somebody on another site said that the person standing at the podium looks kind of like Lynda Carter, raising the possibility that we'll get to see her character (Olivia Marsdin)'s Earth-1 doppelganger, which would be awesome.

That was my first thought, of course, but I don't think it really looks like her. And it would be surprising if they'd kept her appearance a secret, given that they're not exactly skimping on the advance promotion.

I paused the video specifically to see if I could tell for certain whether or not it was in fact Lynda, and although the shot isn't "zoomed in" enough to be 100% certain, there is enough visual similarity that it's at least a possibility.

Re: keeping her appearance secret, they showed two different promos for The Darkest Place and released an official synopsis without it ever leaking out that Dean Cain's Jeremiah Danvers was going to pop up in that episode, so it's not out of the realm of possibility for them to keep Lynda's appearance secret in similar fashion.

Interesting easter egg in the background of the 4 crossover posters......The Hall of Justice!!

Which, ironically, exists in real life.... in Cincinnati.

Not ironic at all. Cincinnati is the home of Procter & Gamble, which sponsored Super Friends and which had the show's creative team in town for a conference during its development. They happened to see Union Terminal, fell understandably in love with its Art Deco awesomeness, and based the Hall of Justice on it.

It's also a building I've been to quite a few times in my life, and even worked at for a brief time. And I can see it from the park near my apartment.

Looking at my shelf, I see that I no longer own Invasion or any of the Legion of Superheroes titles that feature the Dominators as the villains. I need to correct this.

Here's a behind-the-scenes video... It's on Twitter, and I'm not sure how to embed a "tweet" here, so here's the link:

Anyway, I see people complaining that the Supergirl episode wasn't as big a part of the crossover as advertised, but I don't care -- it's still just so cool that this whole thing is happening, and the next three nights are going to be a lot of fun.

I hadn't realized that Keiynan Lonsdale was Australian. Surprising to hear him talking with his native accent.

I suspect that the Legends episode will the grand finale. and will satisfy fans' desire to see a spectacular crossover event.

The impression I get is that the key parts of the story are in The Flash and Legends, and the Arrow episode will be kind of a sidebar that's primarily about being Arrow's 100th episode and looking back on the series's past, with the "Invasion!" element being more of a B-plot. So it'll be more integrated than "Medusa" was, but not as much so as the Flash and Legends parts will be.

What I expect based on the previews is this:
It looks like Oliver and others are taken captive and held aboard the Dominator mothership, and subsequently escape. The "alternate reality" Oliver experiences, where he was never shipwrecked and Laurel and his parents are still alive, will be some kind of Dominator-created illusion, and he has to break out of it to escape.
