Are people still going on about the whole Martha scene? I can recall my reaction when I first saw it. And my reaction was "it's about time Batman realizes that Superman isn't some monster that immediately needs to be destroyed". That's it. And Batman didn't immediately dropped his hostility when Superman used the name Martha. In fact, he thought the latter was playing mind games with him. It was Lois who had informed Batman that the name of Superman's mom was Martha. Which must have been a popular name for the mothers of comic book heroes back in the late 1930s.
Another person who actually watched the film.
When incessant whining with no foundation in truth--usually threaded with the nonsensical "grimdark" label--failed to land, some needed to jump on anything else as a way of attacking the film: a laughably misunderstood reference to a name. That's it.
That soared over the heads of certain people.

Finding out he has a mom he loves doesn't remove than "1%" chance thing...which still makes Batman look like a flake that he'd 180 like that.
Now if they'd bothered having Batman take the time to stew over this and reconsider, then it would've been more of a real character thing.
That's what hatred does is dehumanizing the enemy.
Batman was myopic and hateful and Superman was the "other" only a threat, and dangerous, not a person.
That doesn't make the instant 180 more believable.
Mileage will vary.

Well observed point. Batman was made to share the same sentiments (from differing origin points) as Luthor; both resented a being with power above all human beings. Luthor's perspective was born by grafting his childhood and atheism to Superman as if he was viewed as God. Batman viewed Superman as an alien threat who--like himself--was judge and jury, yet he did not answer to anyone. A person realizing they were becoming what they despised (or imagined he had just cause for hatred), IOW, losing the very thing he did not see in Superman can occur at any moment. Realistic behavior is not on an accepted schedule.

There is a lot of questionable stuff in that article, but what gets me the most is that there is no way Warner Brothers was even remotely threatened by Elon Musk. The man can't even run a social media site, no way could he go "Scorched Earth" on one of the biggest entertainment companies on Earth, even in its weaker current state. He's just a rich asshole, he doesn't even own any company that is relevant to WB or the Movie/TV industries in general. I refuse to believe that he has a bunch of secret power in Hollywood, the man seems to spend most of his time tanking companies and generally making an ass of himself. If WB was going to fire Amber Heard but decided not to, which is very plausible, I seriously doubt that Elon Musk influenced their decision, especially since it seemed to happen before Zaslav took over. Now, that idiot I could see bowing to Musk for some reason, but thats it.
Besides that stuff its all a bunch of sources saying different things, to the point where I think we won't know anything of substance until Aquaman 2 comes out and we can see it ourselves.
I remember reading stories earlier this year from a couple of different web about Momoa's behavior on set, but dismissed them because the webites/sources were less than reputable.
Reading it in Variety makes me think there might be something to it.
As for Elon Musk, what @kirk55555 said. If that had happened, it would have been all over the media.
Having your therapist's notes used in a court battle is part of the reason I think so many people are scared to get help with mental health.
It's super crappy. I've been subpoenaed in a custody/civil case which I hated. The lawyer was very abrasive and annoyed at my terse responses since I was violating my client's confidentiality over a custody battle. And I was like, "You get way more protection that I do. How mad would you be if that wasn't the case?"

Yikes. I'm a little surprised to hear about Momoa's behavior, I had always gotten the impression that he was a decent guy.
The Musk thing is scary if it's true. I'm not a big fan of people who aren't involved with a specific industry or situation, having influence over it just because they happen to have money.
After Heard and Depp split, Heard dated Musk for a bit. Which would have been around the time of Aquaman 2's filming.
