I just plug the laptop straight into the tv with an hdmi cable. And you could also plug it into the modem directly. But I guess if you don't have space for that or don't have a laptop with an hdmi port that won't help.

Correct, He's a master of disguise instead. But it almost doesn't matter because we have all just collectively decided on what his costume should be. Which is a suit with a wide brimmed hat and big feather, and a domino mask, all in Scarlett, with a pimpernel on his lapel of course.
What's your reference for that? I can't find any photos online of such a costume. I thought maybe you were thinking of Daffy Duck as the Scarlet Pumpernickel, but that's basically a Zorro costume with a red mask and cummerbund and a blue shirt. The feathered hats are worn by Daffy's civilian persona and Sylvester as the villain.
No source, I should have worded that differently. I feel there's just this general collective unconscious idea of what the costume would be if there was one, and that particular one is the version I see in my head.

Like I said collective unconscious. If you dress something like that, everyone who knows the character will get who you are even thought the costume has no connection to the book.
The costume color is obvious, the big hat and feather are probably influenced by his choice of a sword as his weapon. The Pimpernel works in France, France+sword=Musketeer, Musketeer=big hat with feather.
No surprise the image comes from Darkwing Duck, since that show was a direct knockoff of The Scarlet Pumpernickel and Chuck Jones's other Daffy-as-inept-hero cartoons. That "Pimperbill" image is just a palette-swapped Darkwing allusion. And since Phineas and Ferb was also Disney, it stands to reason it reflected the same influence. So I guess that supports the idea that the image does come largely from Pumpernickel, even though that costume owed more to Zorro.

While I might quibble with some of the rankings, I heartily endorse their top three:
1. Superman (1978)
2. The Dark Knight
3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Interestingly, Blue Beetle makes the list at #48 and none of the Zack Snyder directed DC Extended Universe movies make the list at all, while his Watchmen comes in at #45. Of the current cycle of DC movies, Shazam comes in at #41, Wonder Woman at #27, and The Suicide Squad (2021) at #25, and The Joker and The Batman at #42 and #16 respectively. The only other Superman movie to make the list, Superman II, is ranked at #23. Of the other Batman movies, Batman (1989) is ranked #6, Batman Begins is ranked #18, Batman Returns comes in at # 21, and The Lego Batman Movie at #29.

Agreed. Blue Beetle was garbage that is a disaster as an adaptation. Then again, that was a list--including any of the Burton/Schumacher Bat-films[/i]--that is not to be taken seriously.
One never knows. Some might see it as "needing" to be saved when the movie-going public made their firm decision: Blue Beetle was a major mistake.
I agree. I do not get how DC could not get a more talented Latino/a writer. As I wrote last Friday, it isn't just that its bad--it is offensive. It uses stereotypes and tropes for laughs in a way that completely undermines the message of the importance of family. I watched it with my wife, kids and niece all of whom are native Spanish speakers groaned multiple times throughout the movie. In both languages, the dialogue was predictable. The story of the grandmother's dubious revolutionary background was nothing short of insulting to people who come from countries with genuinely violent backgrounds or presents.
I can't imagine how bad Batgirl must have been for this movie to be the one chosen for release.
This was a premise that could have done for the Latin community what Black Lightning did for the Black American community, and now we will probably never see the character on screen again in the foreseeable future. If, however, Gunn sees the potential of Blue Beetle as a part of the DC universe, I hope that most of the cast returns as they deserve the opportunity to do something better.
