I agree with those who predict WB will release the movie in theaters for a limited run, take their lumps, then bury it on HBO Max.
On the contrary. According to Variety:

So it would be far more expensive than ditching the movie, because it would mean both ditching the existing movie and shooting a complete replacement for it.
According to the article, WB is quite happy with the movie and simply can't afford to do anything but release it theatrically in its current form. All they can do is try to minimize the damage from the bad publicity by keeping Miller out of the promotional efforts. They're hoping that they can keep the focus on the character of the Flash rather than the actor playing him.
And here my point was that they spent an additional $ 75 million. I'm not saying they would spend as much on fixing The Flash, but if it were possible to do that for around $ 40 million, I think they'd at least consider it. Now, as per your linked article, it would apparently cost considerably more than that, so no, they probably won't do this. That only happened because HBO Max needed original content and COVID had shut down most production, so revamping something that had already been mostly shot was the only feasible way to meet that need. It was the result of a unique combination of circumstances, so it doesn't work as a precedent for other things.
The movie too big to fail but to small to do reshoots.
Recast Miller, shoot a new ending with a new Flash actor. Bring back Cavilman for the ending.
The details of everything that were supposed to be in this movie didn't have me jazzed to see this movie. Now that Miller has completely self-destructed. They should release to movie and abandon all plans of using this movie as a comic inspired reboot in anyway. The movie was meant to erase Snyder's films and keep theatrical JL, WW, Aquaman and Shazam. Now the lead actor is getting the axe as well. The Flash is being Flashpointed as well. Hilarious.
...all rendered meaningless...
The Flash movie was intended to introduce another universe (e.g. a sort of "Earth 2" where Supergirl, Batgirl, Keaton's Batman, et al., exist), not wipe away Snyder's DCEU, otherwise, Wonder Woman and Aquaman--both integral participants in the DCEU which Snyder established--would either go bye-bye, or have their solo films (and related pots to the wider DCEU) all rendered meaningless, separate stories going forward.
The ONLY connection in Aquaman was a mention of SteppenWolf. Why would they be meaningless? They still exist to be enjoyed. And future movies aren't dependent on the limited connectivity they had anyways (did Aquaman have ANY connection? I remember more contradictions than connections)
We’re not yet at peak Ezra, it seems https://www.rollingstone.com/movies/movie-news/ezra-miller-young-children-vermont-farm-1372295/

I did not mean meaningless to audiences, but to the internal narrative. MOS/BVS/WW/SS/WW84/AM/ZSJL are all in the same universe, and thanks to Flash and Affleck's Batman being in the Flash movie, it continues, which was a conscious choice. The Flash movie is more about launching the alternate universe (and telling new, largely unrelated stories) than rewriting the prime universe.
This is all going to end in a cult murder/suicide situation. But I'm sure some reshoots or slapping Grant Gustin's face on Miller's body will make people forget all about it.
Damn, it just won't stop with them. We’re not yet at peak Ezra, it seems https://www.rollingstone.com/movies/movie-news/ezra-miller-young-children-vermont-farm-1372295/
