DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

It feels like, at this point, the actor who played Billy in Shazam is going to be old enough to just play the adult hero part of his identity by the next time we get to see him, if he ever appears again (since his movie wasn't that profitable, unfortunately).

I know you mentioned you gave Shazam a B... so you liked it enough that you think they should have moved forward?

But I think you may be right...the way the DC Film Universe works, it will be forever, if ever, if we get a sequel to DC's "fun" end of the spectrum

Honestly there is no real news in that. While Variety is considered one of the most reliable sources on Hollywood, that is basically a summary of existing information.

Isn't JoBlo one that reports on tons of false rumors?
Micheal B. Jordan, or a returning Henry Cavill still seem more believable to me.

Posted by Zack over on Vero. It exists.

I'm told it's being handled by top men.......top men.

For me...the question is not if it exists....the question is...is it any good? (and his previous movies would be the LOW bar, and NOT the HIGH bar)
I have no doubt that an assembly of footage overseen by Zack Snyder was done. I have grave doubts that the assembly of footage by Zack Snyder (heretofore referred to as the "Snyder Cut") is in any way releasable without massive effects work, color timing, audio work, etc. Visual effects are most likely not complete, ADR was most likely never completed, etc. It would probably take several million dollars just to get it into a shape that would be releasable, and I have no doubt Warner Brothers is unwilling to outlay that kind of cash on a project they seem to be more than willing to put on the ash heap of history.

Yes. This is, at best, a rough cut from early in the editing stage, a draft of the version of the film the director wanted, still in need of extensive refinement and completion. Seeing it in its current form might be of interest to film students, but no doubt a lot of the people in the general public who are screaming for the "Snyder Cut" to be released would rant about how they'd been ripped off if they saw it in its current form.

I'm honestly not sure why Snyder is fanning the flames of this nonsense, given that he must know it's never likely to be released.

This is obviously viral marketing. The Snyder Cut not only exists, it's finished and ready to be released.

I just want to hear an explanation from the guy who kept telling us that what we got IS the Snyder cut.

I imagine that any Snyder cut will be filled with unfinished sequences like this unused Endgame scene ...
