Is it just me, or has this thread become completely unreadable?
If you mean the tedious back-and-forth about the Joker and Thanos and what the fuck ever, delivered in endless TL;DR treatises ... then no, it's not just you.Is it just me, or has this thread become completely unreadable?
You're absolutely right, and I'm sorry for my part in it.Is it just me, or has this thread become completely unreadable?
Yes. Admittedly I am mostly a lurker in these thread, so maybe my opinion has little value. But I read a lot threads on this forum I do not post in. This one has severely stood out like a sore thumb lately...Is it just me, or has this thread become completely unreadable?
Way to reasonable for this thread. Some of you like Marvel and not DC; some of you like DC and not Marvel. We get it. Maybe let those of us who enjoy both just get on with the thread?
Its okay to admit you like Power Rangers-level explosions and noise.
In comes the laughter.
Nonsense.
Nonsense. Posted like one who never read any of the comics to know why the Green Goblin was Spider-Man's greatest (and most revisited) villain before the Stacy death issue.
More nonsense. Spider-Man: Homecoming was as much about Toomes/Vulture as it was about Spider-Man.
The greatest of all Spider-Man films--Raimi's Spider-Man 2--was
Aside from your utter disrespect of the late Ledger, you are reaching at anything to try (and fail) to tear down the greatest superhero film and a great film in general.
Because the plan of earth tech vs. galaxy-traveling giant alien with overpowered magic stones made sooo much sense.
What exactly is that, other than your go to phrase? No, just no operatic monologues.
He is referring to Alfred saying things like "You die a hero or live to see yourself become the villain", one of the better phrases in superhero movie history. What exactly is that, other than your go to phrase?
You really have a problem with anything that isn't afraid to be unashamed of itself and properly comic-booky, don't you? Bet you loved Fant4stic.
No, just no operatic monologues.
Yes-sense, if an enemy has shown it's willing to do all that and not negotiate and Strange already knew about Thanos from Banner and what he did to the Asgardians then they knew there was no point in talking. You don't waste time when the enemy has shown they aren't going to listen.
Actually, with posts like this you are proving YOU haven't read much classic Spidey. He never had a proper "greatest enemy" until they brought Norman back in the 90s.
No, he was important but it was about Peter first.
Very much not the greatest, and Octavius was poorly done in that film with the "The tentacles were controlling him!" idea.
No, just Dark Knight. An overrated wannabe crime drama made by someone ashamed of comics.
Desperation, you can't afford to be wholly logical in such a bad situation and you know talking isn't an option. That's what made it real, as opposed to something like Dark Knight or DOFP where they can pause to give operatic monologues.
He is referring to Alfred saying things like "You die a hero or live to see yourself become the villain", one of the better phrases in superhero movie history.
It was Dent who said that, and it's an example of Nolan not thinking things through while trying to be profound otherwise he'd have had Rachel or Bruce immediately counter with real life examples like George Washington, Cincinnatus, Nelson Mandela, etc.
