DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

Which is pretty impressive when you consider all we've gotten of him at the Witcher is a few seconds of him walking up to the camera and standing still.

Cavill is done as Superman. He has gone from a universally despised Superman to a universally despised Witcher.
I don't agree that he was universally despises as Superman. It's the fans fault if they don't like him as the Witcher, they are going from the books and not the games. So in the books, Witcher is much younger. This is also just a hair/makeup/costume test, much will change between now and when they actually start filming.

Oh, certainly not. In my experience, most of the people who despise the Snyder Superman films, myself included, still think Cavill would've been a great Superman if he'd been given better scripts to work with. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that Cavill was the main problem with those films.

Yep. The actor Henry Cavill wasn't despised he was fine in the role and played what he was given in the various scripts - it wasn't his fault the material was more akin to a Batman like character than the actual Superman character.

They should've kept him and sacked the scriptwriter.

Yep to the two posts above. Lois's and Clark's expanded journalistic roles are a definite plus. In fact, more of Adams's excellent Lois doing anything is welcome in my book -- I vote for a Lois Lane solo movie in semi-grounded investigative/political thriller mode, with Cavill playing an important but clearly supporting secondary role (he and Adams do have strong and sexy chemistry).

It would be pretty easy to set a movie during the months when Superman is dead, or simply have Clark be away. It would suck to have a Lois movie where Superman saves the day at the end.

Well, that's why I took pains to make it clear his role should be secondary and supportive. Though if successful, it could lead to his own spinoff movie: Lois Lane's Boyfriend, Superman. ;)

Since BvS was brought up, here's a neat retro version of it ;)

I'm a little surprised we haven't gotten an animated Injustice movie. We did get an animated Arkham movie, so they aren't totally against doing stuff set in video game universes.

Well, they only do 3 DVD movies a year, 2 of which are in their main continuity. They may get to it eventually.

Oh for crying out loud...

No one twisted Netflix’s arm to release a terrible wig and costume test.
