DC Comics - Ongoing Discussion - SPOILERS

As an aside, the reason I asked the questions I did is because I'm trying to put together an 8-member Justice League team for a project I'm working on that adheres to the following self-imposed criteria:
1) Each member of the team has to have been a JL member in the comics

2) 4 of the team members have to have appeared in live-action television previously

3) The team's membership needs to be split 4/4 along gender lines (4 male members/4 female members)

I would use Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), Red Arrow/Arsenal (Colton Haynes), Negative Woman (Stephanie Corneliussen), and Katana (Rila Fukushima) as the team members to have appeared in live action television previously.

Can somebody give me a brief synopsis of the circumstances under which Starfire joined the Justice League in the comics? I'm struggling to come up with an origin story for my version of the League, and am hoping that by gaining some insight into how her tenure (however brief it was) started, I might get some ideas.

If I remember correctly, Starfire was part of the Justice League in the period when Dick was Batman and Mon-El was filling in for Superman post-Final Crisis. It was basically a Titans line-up (Dick, Donna, Starfire) calling themselves the Justice League. It was the brief period when Mark Bagley was working for DC.

Thanks for that answer, @Allyn Gibson.

I was ultimately able to come up with an origin story for my Justice League, one which draws inspiration from the team's debut back in The Brave and the Bold comics in the '60s, as well as on narrative ideas from the New 52 like A.R.G.U.S. and, of all things, Team 7. I also decided to switch out Captain Atom for the New 52/DCU version of Mister Majestic, James Bronson, and give him elements of the Wildstorm version of the character, Majestros, as well, since he's ultimately a better fit as a Superman "stand-in" than Captain Atom is.

^ I wasn't planning on doing so, no, but I easily could.

As an aside, I'm trying to decide whether or not to swap out Starfire for Black Canary on account of the latter being a member of Team 7. Thoughts?
