DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

Those are feelings about the idea of the film, not the film itself.
Exactly. Generally movie trailers, particularly teaser ones work as Rorschach Tests of the viewers. Reactions are based on hopes, dreams, expectations of each individual viewers. Including existing biases for cast, crew, studios, etc. Which lead to a wide variety of reactions to what is usually very little.
 
You notice in Superman, his parents say in their message:

"We love you more than heaven our son, we love you more than land..."

That stood out to me as a weird phrasing; it took me a moment to get that they were somewhat awkwardly paraphrasing the construction. "Heaven and Earth."
Probably sounds better in the original Kryptonese
