Nope. The mediocrity of Zack Snyder is done and dusted, at last.
A Superman at leastThis is superman.
Is it july yet?
Yep. Which IMO is smart because it subtly says to the audience "hey, one can bring back a movie character that is forty or more years old and it can still work magnificently."I could hear a little of that in the trailer, specifically the style they used for Top Gun Maverick.
I guess Guy is an old em.. Guy because they want to keep him as a contemporary of Hal?
I saw one YouTube comment call Snyder's Superman, "Downerman."Nope. The mediocrity of Zack Snyder is done and dusted, at last.
I mean, seriously - " Go read the YouTube comments?" That's what you got?
No one's even visiting that particular video shrine these days other than the Snyderoids who bark on social media. So, no surprises there.
The guitar work reminded me of Carter Gravatt's work with Carbon Leaf, specifically for "The War Was in Color." I'll share a Marvel fanvid with the song; the official video is just audio.Full-length version of the trailer theme:
Yeah, a lot of folks worked hard to polish Snyder's turds, but, well, you know the saying...I’m finally ready to give my thoughts.
Glad to see Superman return. Looks like scenes right out of animation and a comic book.
I’m just happy to see Superman’s face again.
Here is a reminder of how Warner Bros treated the character during their “course corrected” era post-Zack Snyder.

Interesting that it’s LuthorCorp and not LexCorp.
I believe so. LexCorp in itself is a relatively new thing. Debuting in the mid 1980’s.I may be wrong, but didn't the "LuthorCorp" name debut in Smallville, because Lex wasn't running it yet?

With the yellow background, I thought much more of Superman Secundus, the successor to Superman from Grant Morrison's DC One Million, than the older Superman from Kingdom Come, so with the working title "Superman: Legacy" I wondered for a while if the Superman featured might be Kal-El's son instead. Seeing Superman and Lois doing some sucky face answered that.Interesting that it’s LuthorCorp and not LexCorp. Superman is also wearing his future symbol as well.
