DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

Oh, OK. I only saw Man of Steel once, so I guess I must have forgotten about him being in it. Same goes for Superman & Lois.

Gunn's cast-of-thousands Superman movie has added two more names: Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant and Christopher McDonald (apparently not that Christopher McDonald) as Ron Troupe.

Unlike the crop of C-list superheroes announced early on, at which I still look askance, Cat and Ron are actual Superman characters, so the more the merrier. :techman:
Waiting for the Lola Barnett casting news.

It's nice to see them filling out the Daily Planet staff.
I kind of love that you posted the above in complete innocence after asking about Hoover.

If you remembered her from The Suicide Squad, you'd understand my amusement.

Here are a couple of photos reportedly showing downtown Cleveland storefronts being redressed for Superman shooting.

I really like this Daily Planet logo. It has a nicely vintage feel to me. Like '40s/'50s.

And I love this tribute to the great George Reeves. (No, not Christopher Reeve. I'm confident Gunn and his set dressers know how his name is spelled, unlike the majority of people online.)

Warner Bros Animation/DC Comics/Paramount just dropped a teaser trailer for an animated Watchmen movie with the subheading 'Chapters 1 & 2'. There's no release date only a 'Coming Soon' at the end. I didn't even know this was a thing. The animation is reminiscent of Marvel's 'What If?' series.

So...is the Daily Planet a book store in the new film? I know the two pics might be unrelated, but the same yellow for the signage...

Whatever the case, "best sellers and favorites" doesn't sound much like a newspaper. Curious.
