Reckless decisions, maybe. But Lois Lane, properly written, should never come off as stupid. And in a way that writers can't seem to grasp either since she tends to get in trouble due to stupid decisions usually.
Clark should be so lucky.Whip-smart means question the smartness and you gets the whip!
That would be ideal, yes.Clark's no dummy, but yeah, I think Lois is whip-smart in a way most people can't match.
@TREK_GOD_1 may never say this, but i think most critics of the DCFU will at least say that Amy Adams was great in her role, and the writing on her end pretty much supported that.I hope that Lois is as smart as Amy Adams Lois Lane
I think even the most die hard fan would say that DC movies have seen better days. What do you think the first Gunn era movie has to do to reverse trends? Or does it just have to be a good movie?
Adams's Lois was consistently the single best thing about Snyder's DC movies, and was my favorite screen version of the character till Bitsie Tulloch came along to edge her from the top spot.@TREK_GOD_1 may never say this, but i think most critics of the DCFU will at least say that Amy Adams was great in her role, and the writing on her end pretty much supported that.
To me, she had that right balance of grit and compassion to plausibly be a love interest for SUperman
Indeed because new and casual fans will be put off by feeling the weight of all this history in this franchise. I hope this can do it.I think it needs to show enough respect for what came before to show that the makers love Superman as a whole, but then create enough new stuff to let newer fans also embrace it.
It's as if they are portraying this couple as complimentary in strengths and weaknesses.
Brains and brawn are a common combination. This is bad now?
i have a bad feeling about this...
Wow, Superman has some really weird kinks.Reckless decisions, maybe. But Lois Lane, properly written, should never come off as stupid.
Clark should be so lucky.

Q: What do you see in Tom king? People hate his guts
Gunn: He’s an amazing writer and a nice guy. He’s written at least four of the best runs over the last few years (Miracle, Strange, WoT, and Human Target). The problem with being successful in the internet age - and he’s one of the most successful current comic book writers by any metric - is that there will always be a group of people who hate your guts.
Read the Human Target run. Loved it.Gunn on why Tom King is part of his DCU inner circle/brain trust:

Yeah, it's frakking amazing, right?
I've read -- and loved -- two of the four specific titles Gunn cites, and I recently purchased the other two (Strange Adventures and Mister Miracle). Expecting more awesome stuff.
