DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

Gunn posted this pic in celebration of Superman Day:

The actors playing Ma and Pa look to be as plain as plain can be, nothing "Hollywood" about them at all. I have to believe that's entirely the point.
Yep. Pretty far removed from Kevin Costner and Diane Lane (or John Schneider and Annette O'Toole, for that matter).

Hard to tell at this angle whether the collar goes up the neck like the New 52 suit, or 'merely' around the neck like the SR suit. In any case, higher than what I prefer.
Also not a fan of the piping on shoulders and arms.
None of those are deal breakers, though.

But, while mostly obscured by shadows, the red trunks appear to be back. And I'm very happy about that.

This is about an old show, but I can't think of anywhere else to put it
Lynda Carter's stunt double from the '70s Wonder Woman series, Jeannie Epper has died. If you think about it, it's kinda sad that she was such an important part of the show, and most of us have probably never heard of her.
Here's a segment all about her from a 1979 episode of Sunday Morning, which features a look at her filming a stunt for an episode of Wonder Woman.

According to her Wikipedia page she has been called "the greatest stunt woman who's ever lived". IMDB has 161 stunt credits, and 39 actress credits listed for her with a lot of big, popular shows and movies.

:(

There's a pretty good documentary (partially) about Jeannie called Double Dare. I guess this would be a good time for me to rewatch it.

I've never heard of that, but I might have to check it out, the trailer looked pretty good. Ironically, I think Zoe Bell, who the movie also features, has gone on the be almost as big a name as Jeannie was.
