DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

Huh, the main theatre go to, there's only one 3 seats sold so far for the Thursday showings. 1 2D, and 2 3D. 3:05 and 6:50 for the two showings.

Now I haven't actually looked at theatre seats since December 2020, so it's possible people around here are just not buying online early anymore. But I remember first day Star Wars and Marvel movies pre-2020 being almost sold out all the time.

There's 15 seats sold on Friday's 3D showing, none for the 2D showing.

People here hardly ever buy tickets more than a day or two in advance. You should check out seats for the dinosaur movie to see if they look more packed.

My local theater finally scheduled an English-language screening on a night I don't have to work, so at last I got my ticket for Thursday night.
It is the only English-language screening (aside from Wednesday, when I'm at work) for the week, so I guess any second viewing will have to be the German dub. Oh well, might talk some family members into joining me for that.

If you know this reviewer's history with Gunn, you know that there's zero chance that she'd shill for his work...
And if you know this reviewer's history in general you know it's not at all littered with bad takes.... dodged a bullet there!

Now after years of trial and a lot of error, “Superman” is back thanks to James Gunn. He’s revived the super hero with humor and grace and just enough introspection to serve the die hard fans who want it.
Gunn has turned two decades of sturm and drang into some thing fun, drenched in color and faux angst, with sets — like Superman’s icy Fortress of Solitude — that are much characters as the people. He’s added Krypto the dog, a hilarious and much needed comedic sidekick not unlike Groot from “Guardians.” This crystal palace is Superman’s crystal man cave, staffed with quippy robots who can be knocked around but never knocked out.
