Problem is that it isn't one random person. It is lots of people using division over a property to drive clicks. Your algorithm gets going a certain way on YouTube and it becomes an avalanche.

I never paid more than passing attention to the Snyder cult until a few months ago. I like some of his movies myself. What's become clear on social media recently is that a core group of them are as mentally unbalanced as QAnon.

There is absolutely nothing about her backstory that says she can't be half South Korean. It just means this in this reality whichever one of her parents is a Bertinelli family married a South Korean person and had Helena. All of her backstory can still play out the same way as long as one of parents is a member of the Bertinelli crime family, and South Korea has it's own mob, so if they really wanted they could have even made her full Korean and still given her the same basic backstory.

Didn't they say that this was going to be the Bertinelli version of her?
I didn't realize they brought the Helena Wayne version back as the main one, I thought she was just relegated to alternate universe stories involving Earth 2 or whichever one she comes from.

Both exist in the current comics. The Wayne version is from a possible future who wound up in the past and met the JSA.

Oh cool, the only Wayne version I'm familar with is the one from the Birds of Prey TV series, pretty much every other version I've come across has been Bertinelli. I don't think I've read any comics with Huntress, it's all just the adaptations.

The original version is from the pre-COIE version of Earth-2 and debuted in the 70s revival of All-Star Comics that starred the JSA. She was killed off in Crisis On Infinite Earth along with the Earth-2 Robin.

So what? Screen adaptations are under no obligation to adapt current comics; they can draw on any part of the history they want to, or invent their own original versions. Both versions of the Huntress have been adapted to the screen before, and both remain available to adapt in the future.

Except that series called her Helena Kyle, and made both her and Catwoman metahumans.
