Daylight Savings this weekend, Where Applicible

When told the reason for daylight savings time, the Old Indian said, "Only the white man would think that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket, sew it to the bottom, and have a longer blanket."

- Sean, resident of a "no-daylight savings time State, except for (ironically) the one Indian Reservation up in the northeast corner of the State".

LOL! I love that!

I was checking the DVR schedule to cull out the kids' shows that I don't want to record (my son has learned how to program the DVR -- oh, joy :vulcan: ) and saw that House was set to record at 6 pm. I had forgotten that DST was to start so early this year; at least it seems as though it's early this year.

Oh, already?

Awesome! I'm sick of these dark days!

Not me man, I love it when it gets dark earlier. That way I can go to bed earlier and in turn, get up earlier.

Plus the warmer weather, which often accompanies daylight savings time here in California, makes me sick.

I can't wait for next Christmas. I'll be able to go to bed at a decent hour: 5pm. For the next five months I'll have to stay up til all hours of the night: 9pm.

Clocks must be due to change again here in the UK as its nearly easter.

I can never remember when it is.

Six days later and I'm still chasing that hour of sleep. I hate DST in Spring (of course I love it in the Fall!)

8:58, first time I've ever been early for work. Except for all those daylight savings days. Lousy farmers.
