I think it looks interesting, but there looks to be some very bad acting and a lot of cliche. that said, I will check it out.

I found a better quality one.

Yeah that was it. The characters are too vanilla and the dialogue is too cliche-ridden. The SFX are impressive, but I suspect they'll blow their wad in the premiere and then the story will ratchet down to a much more economical format, focusing on the characters and their struggle for survival, which would be ok assuming they've got strong characters and writing, which I'm not overly hopeful for.

But granted, I tend to hate everything.

I particularly love the guy who says "It doesn't MATTER! They're already DEAD!" Johnny Drama lives! Maybe this can be bad enough to merit guilty-pleasure status for a while till it wears out its welcome.

It's funny how the Hot New Trend is now alien invasions. This, plus V, and Stephen Speilberg is doing something, and who knows maybe Flash Forward will be about alien invaders too.

Lost is great on its own merits!

As for Heroes, everyone deserves to have one crappy show they love regardless. Stargate doesn't count because I watch that out of a sense of obligation to the cosmos to bash it until it goes away finally.
