David Webers Honor Harrington Series of Books

The first several are great, and you're gonna enjoy them, Myk. It's not for a while before they start getting to be a chore to plod thru.

I'm rereading the 'World of Honor' books and wishing they'd do MORE of 'em. It's rather nice to get books from other characters POVs not to mention more 'enemy' perspectives.

To be honest I'd love to see one HAVEN focused book, possibly covering from the end of Ashes of Victory to War of Honor. Be a interesting read.

^ Fanatic, Eric Flint's entry in Service of the Sword was outstanding. I'm surprised to realize how well the non-Honor stories have stuck with me in comparison to those starring her. It's not that I dislike Honor; I think Weber writes her less well than he does the other characters. Despite her starring role, I feel I hardly understand her as a person, as though she's been only lightly explored.

I finally went back and reread the first 10 Honor books in preparation for "Crown Of Slaves" & "Shadow of Saganami"

I really enjoyed the Anthologies, especially 'Fanatic' by Eric Flint.

Once I'm done with CoS & SoS, I'm moving back to AAC and then Storm from the Shadows, then Torch for Freedom, then Mission of Honor. (The first 3-part "novel" which has taken the "Spin-Off" series and made them Mainline Series books.

Should be interesting.
