But hey, yeah, I'm with you on exploring other characters besides the main ones. I'm just not sure how Crucible: Galloway would sell, though...
How about Crucible: Harlan Ellison?![]()

Don't forget the truly dizzying Crucible: Guardian (not sarcastic)
Now that has possibilities! A story told from the Guardian's POV would definitely be interesting to read.

You'd want to avoid having it(the Guardian) read like that Loc Nar thing from the cartoon Heavy Metal, though. Keep it less pretentious and more dignified, y'know what I mean? But I'd read it-I love "the grand scale of things"...Crucible: Guardian could easily evoke that sense of great time passing...
I believe that the Guardian is, in its way, dignified...mysterious and dignified.
It got a software upgrade from Unknown Alien Dude OS 2268 to 2270 Professional Plus.I believe that the Guardian is, in its way, dignified...mysterious and dignified.
Whereas I've become convinced that the Guardian is either senile or dishonest -- or maybe just pathetically lonely and desperate to please. What kind of guardian actively invites people to tamper with the thing it's supposed to be guarding? Not to mention that it claims in "City" that it can only present the past on fast-forward, but then in "Yesteryear" is obligingly offering up specific dates and locations on demand.
Yeah, i know you would, based on what stuff of yours I've read-it...
