David Hewlett in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes"

Well, to be fair to Hewlett's character, that is a special edition Bullitt Mustang. They're collectibles, I might be a bit miffed if someone did that to my car as well. Then again I'd never ever leave it open like that.

Back to the topic, fun to see Hewlett :)

In that clip, all I see is McKay. He's a carbon copy. I wonder if I'll ever be able to watch him in anything again and not see Rodney.

He does tend to keep the same mannerisms. He slipped into McKay a bit in Splice too.

there's no way a chimp would not kill him with one punch to the face. even a small chimp has the strength to rip a fully grown man's arms off. not realistic.

Chimps being many times stronger than humans is a myth. They're about twice as strong as us, and even then that's only pound for pound. Also, I'm pretty sure a few shots have been cut from the scene anyway, as you can clearly see the chimps face has blood on it from the attack, plus we don't know how much damage he was trying to do anyway.
