^^ Wow, surreal indeed. Hopefully, I'll have time to buy a new DVD player tomorrow, and I'll watch that episode.
However it happened, we lost a good actor and an even better presence.
Speaking only as a fan, he'll certainly be missed.
Which network where you watching? Belive it or don't, but I saw this on CNN with wolf blitzer on a big screen tv at of all places a CI CI'S pizza place with several families in the room. (GREAT PIZZA, by the by)I saw them actually officially say on the television news that it was "an accident involving a sex act."![]()
Reading in The Daily Star today (so you know it's true) that he died of a heart attack from a massive orgasm.
Never tried the ol' asphyxy wank myself, but to die from it I would hope for his sake it was a good one
If that's how he went, there are certainly worse ways to go.Reading in The Daily Star today (so you know it's true) that he died of a heart attack from a massive orgasm.

Okay, in light of this tragedy, I decided to finally get around to watching my copy of the 3rd season of Kung Fu. The first episode of that season has Caine learning his grandfather has died, apparently by suicide. Caine quickly discovers evidence to the contrary and he will not rest until he uncovers the truth, thus bringing peace to the deceased.
Holy crap, that was surreal....![]()
I was surprised to hear about how he died at first too, but now that I think about it, it may very well have been the perfect way for him to go. He strikes me as the kind of guy who would die from something like this. If this is in fact what happened to Carradine, then we can say that he and Steve Irwin went the way they lived. Not many people can claim that.I REALLY am sorry, but dying while masterbating is just TOO FUNNY!![]()
Wow I cant think of a more embarrassing way to go.![]()

I had the opportunity to spend 3 days on location with David.
We were shooting THE RAGE ~ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117433/
in the beautiful mountains of Utah. It was 1997.
I had been cast in the second bad guy lead, opposite Gary Busey.
When I auditioned for the film, I was given the sides (script)
for the character that Mr. Carradine ultimately played in the movie.
It was one scene --- but it was a great part --- and David was brilliant!
I got my new DVD player and watched those episodes; great cast and a sad story. There was also the "Introduction To Season Three" with David Carradine playing Caine's flute on the Great Wall Of China. Left me feeling rather melancholy.![]()

Yes, I meant to mention that when I first brought up the subject of Season 3's initial episode. It was rather bittersweet, I agree. I was, however, somewhat amused by David's comments on how cold it was and that it would have been more sensible to go up there in August.
