Thanks AstroSmurf! I'll keep that in mind.

I thought you guys may be interested in that Rommie BOP I made yesterday...It's only a quicky (made in about an hour) and at 5000 polys, it's very low mem friendly (renders up in under a second). Yet, I think it holds up fairly well, especially for animations...

That Bird of Prey looks outstanding for being so low poly. Well done.
Any thoughts of adding Eaves concept of a painted bird on the underside?

I also took a stab at the "upgraded" version, albeit haphazardly...

While im at it, I might as well turn this into a full blown gallery thread of bits and bobs im currently toying with...

Aha...I've seen it but couldnt remember it exactly. Thanks for the link! If I ever do a proper version of it, i'd probably add that. Considering this one is so low poly (and upon further research, inaccurate) I think i'll just leave it as is for the time being.

Juuuust before I go to sleep, here's an update on the main attraction.

I've remodelled the aft end of the secondary hull (after actually buying the calendar, and seeing it in more detail) and added a few bits and pieces here and there.

Man, I love the look of this ship.

Slight updates!

Added like, a little bit more detail to the secondary hull and bridge. Im probs gonna redo the arrowhead insignias on the sec hull too, as theyre a bit crap.
