Temis pretty much already suggested rebooting Buffy for television but once again that isn't the point of the thread. They're looking for another superhero based television series like "Smallville" with traditional comic book heroes. Not supernatural heroes who have powers or use magic or the like.
^ I didn't say superheroes with no powers, I said supernatural heroes with powers.
Since when is Barbara Gordon a Supernatural Hero with powers (Or was that just a coincidence in timing that posted right after Yminale?)^ I didn't say superheroes with no powers, I said supernatural heroes with powers.
My bet is that they'll go for something that uses what appears to be traditional comic book heroes (costumes, secret identities, costumed superfoes), but with much for of the TVD - or Buffy, since that seems to be the same thing - feel. They're looking for another superhero based television series like "Smallville" with traditional comic book heroes.
I did read that article, but didn't get the idea that they were changing the formula, so much as they are looking for a new topic (superhero, not more vampires and witches). You keep bringing up the "CW Formula" and I suppose that you didn't see the article that Jet posted where they're trying to change that formula.

I think Termis wanted a show like Buffy not necessarily a reboot.
I think the formula they are changing is being open to more stuff than they were under Dawn Ostroff...comedies, more reality, another superhero show...remakes.
^Did you only check the pilot? Sometimes shows' pilots have different theme music than the rest of the series. Especially if a show's title sequence contains images from the show that could be spoilers for the events of the pilot, as Charmed's did. In that case, the pilot would tend to have a simpler title sequence, quite possibly with different music.
So the focus of the show was primarily on a woman who was nearly 30, an adult who worked as a photographer in an art gallery. It was not a "teen" show by any definition.
Wiki tells me she worked at the Museum of Natural History, then at an auction house and then became a photographer.I thought Prue worked in acquisitions in an auction house? Or did she change careers that I don't recall.
