WTF? Everytime someone goes to do squats on the Holodeck, Cmder. Riker is in there hogging it up doing curls.

Complete lack of ediquette and waste of time.

No wonder it took him so long to move up the ranks.

Dude tell me about it. Did you see "The Best of Both Worlds, pt 2" from season 4? There's a scene in there where you can clearly see some retard ensign curling in the Worf Machine! I hate when ensigns do that! If you don't know how to use the Holodeck, ask someone. Don't just move over to the Worf Machine instead. Sure, the Worf Machine limits your scapular plane movement and can cause humeral head irritation when benching in it, but that doesn't mean it's okay to go in there and start curling the bar for 60 reps like some CrossStar workout!

And I thought this was going to be about the winter sport...

No, it's about biceps curls in the Holodeck. The Holodeck is for receiving holograms, not curls. There's all sorts of places to do biceps curls and the Holodeck is not one of them. That's why Riker is such douchebag for doing his 3x10 biceps curls workouts with the pink dumbbells in the Holodeck.

I don't think there's enough space in the Holodeck for the sport of curling. It's all about biceps curls, brah! Bis and bench!

Have you ever tried rubbing that brush hard? Man, that's hard work! You'll get biceps like Worf in no time playing Curling on the Holowhatsit. That cold will make you a real warrior too.

Dude, don't even get me started on "real warriors". I'm a Klingon after all, and I can't enter Sto-Vo-Kor if I don't die in battle. That means I'm going to battle the bar and the iron until I DIE! You wouldn't believe what kind of workouts the Klingon High Council puts me through.

Hi-intensity interval training, high rep heavy squats (30 or more reps mostly), a lot of work with two Prowlers (that's right, us Klingons push TWO Prowlers; humans only use one), and frequent beatings with chains and sticks to build up my pain threshold.

Hey MikeS. I gotta go hit the weights up. Let me know if you want a good workout that'll really develop your high-threshold fast twitch muscle fibers. It's nothing like what the Klingon High Council demands so I think it's something that a human could handle. Shoot me a PM and I'll write something up for you. Just let me know what your fitness goals are so I don't give you something that won't do what you're looking for.

I'll leave you with one last piece of advice that a wise, bald Romulan who spent waaaaaaay too much time in the tanning booth told me once. "It's all about PRESSING!"

You sound like a true warrior! Hooray!
