Now THAT.. is a GREAT photo!!
iF: At the same time, do you feel sad that the NEXT GEN movies have come to an end?
FRAKES: Yes. By all means. I had dinner with Patrick [Stewart] last week and we were both ready to go back to do another one.
iF: Do you think that ship has sailed that NEXT GEN anything is pretty much off the table.
FRAKES: I don't think so. I think if this is successful, it opens up any number of possibilities for the whole STAR TREK franchise, so we'll see how this does.
About 300 pounds.Curious -- what is Jonathan Frakes up to nowadays?
I always thought he and his wife made such a good couple. Like one of those couples you can look at and know they're going to last. Hopefully. But they sure made pretty kids, his son is a good-looking boy.
Without the beard, Frakes looked more like Potsie from Happy Days. With the beard, he looks like Shatner's slightly younger brother! -- RR
I've seen them in person before, at the airport.
Mrs Frakes owns an interior decorating business, in Maine, I believe, where they are living. Mr Frakes, I believe is lecturing at university. Other than that, he's pretty much dropped off my dredas.

It's good to know that both Mr. and Mrs. Frakes are down to earth, and realize that the glitz of Hollywood isn't everything.
Life has been good to them. They are happy with what they have accomplished and where they are in life.
To go from being pop culture phenomenons back in the 1980's-1990's to living humbly nowadays with their children in Maine is a lesson in life many in "swag happy" Hollywood needs to learn for themselves in comparison to the rest of our population -- especially during these economic times.
QFT. Funny how people who live simple, quaint lives are happiest, while those who think glitz, glam, drugs, and constant partying are the most miserable.
