I think that his psychologist made him forget that number after writing it down himself.

^ :cardie: Am I not enough! And you still have not even bothered to PM me. Well I am taking a ride on my Huffy bike getting out of here.

:rommie:

I do wonder if this thread is going anywhere anymore... :vulcan:

Or should we go back to the lowest common denominator spoonerisms again? :bolian:

^ :cardie: Am I not enough! And you still have not even bothered to PM me. Well I am taking a ride on my Huffy bike getting out of here.

:rommie:

I was waiting for you to make the first move!

Is there room for me on that hm, bike? It could be our first date. ;)

^ :rommie: Oh my. I guess we got our wires crossed. (To be honest, I was so shocked that something actually came out of it that I didn't know what to do.)

And there is plenty of room on the bike. Would you like to have dinner or should we just go get drunk at a bar? How about a movie!

God, I'm totally out of practice here. I'm like 15,000 pages behind with this albatross. As such, this will be a long post, and I suggest you skip it.

You know, you made my day. If the first post responding to my return hadn't been this, I think I would have been disturbed, depressed, and maybe a little upset.

Oh, BTW, I was in your neck of the woods two weeks ago.

Where's Philo by the way? ;)

This is what happens when you go away for awhile, and on return, do a search for your own username. I thought, "What the hell is this all about, why I am being mentioned, and who's the weirdo who even remembers who I am?"
And you are, again....?

This is just because I called you weird, isn't it? Just be glad -- I noodled with the idea of stealing your shtick in my initial post [no, you didn't - someone]

Good to have you back, man.

Just good? :wtf:

It is Philo! Among us once again. :D Time for a song?
return of the mack? you couldn't use something better?
You have a song in mind for Philo? That might need it's own thread...
"He's Back! (The Man Behind the Mask)" by Alice Cooper?
he's back by Slim Shady?
The Ken Keniff version

"Guess who's back,
back again, Philo's back,
Tell some men, rub my back,
rub my back, rub my back."
^
Will the real Philo please stand up?

:guffaw:

I must say, though, An Officer, that contrary to what it may look like from time to time, I don't think either I or my return deserve it's own thread. And yes, I am indeed setting up a "You'd much rather just clog up preexisting ones" joke. To which I will say, "Of course. More people read it then."

Now, in all seriousness, and to address this whole song issue, I would humbly suggest "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?". It's on topic, and I'm sure I could pull off Rod Stewart (see link -- it's like looking in a mirror).

Alternatively, if that's not your cup of tea, there's always, "The Cat Came Back".

(Btw, everyone should watch that if they never have. It's a classic piece of animation from the NFB.)

Now before i start bugging you, you know what this is about right?

After reading this entire goddamn thread, I think I can speak with some confidence that it has something to do with fucking with people's heads, right?

Speaking of which...

I have to admit, that was fast! I mean, really.. that happened within hours. It may not seem like it, but in all honestly, I genuinely wasn't expecting that.

It would, however, explain this oddity I noticed on the metro a few months ago.

At first, I thought someone from the Dairy Farmer's Association of Canada was playing a cruel joke on me (I'm allergic), but now I understand.

So, to whoever is responsible... :adore:

I don't think it's fair to call anyone an 'attention whore'. People just have different personalities. I am a very open person in general and don't hide anything so people notice me more. I don't ask them to and I don't act this way to make anyone look my way, I am just comfortable with, well, anything. I say what's on my mind and not a lot of people do that so it can attract more attention than someone who is quiet and just observes things that happen. I'm sure there are people here who think I talk the way I do just to generate some boners but I don't, this is just how I am and how some of my friends are. We aren't afraid to say things and we could care less if people look at us or not. It's just how we talk.

Alternatively, it's also fair to call everyone an 'attention whore', since everyone seeks attention and validation in life (some of us on an internet message board, even ;)). Hence the feelings of rejection that can come up in anything like this. But you're exactly right in that...

People should never be shamed of themselves because there will always be people around them who love them for who they are and that is way more important than being on a list in a forum.

I'm curious and flattered by my inclusion on this list, but I would have been just as happy if I hadn't been.

I used to be the quiet, shy girl who couldn't even pick up the phone to order a pizza but I got over it and it's much more fun and stress free to be open about anything and everything. That wont work for everyone because some people like being quiet and to themselves and that is cool, too. Whatever makes a person happy and comfortable is what is important.

I used to be like that too, and it took me years to learn how to be comfortable with myself and like myself in a way that allowed me to gain the attention and validation I sought from others (also known as 'acting like an obnoxious blowhard on a Star Trek message board', cf. above).

That said, even though I've learned how to be an affable, out-going person, at the end of the day, I'm also one of those people who likes being quiet and to themselves. I'm an introvert, and any social activity is incredibly draining to me, so I always require a substantial amount of alone time to 'recharge my batteries'. That's true even for this board, which is why you'll often see me disappear for awhile, or not post much.

And you are, again....?

This is just because I called you weird, isn't it? Just be glad -- I noodled with the idea of stealing your shtick in my initial post [no, you didn't - someone]
Well, at least my influence is spreading everywhere - there IS no escape. [Actually, Zion, you stole it from your own different persona from another website, if you remember correctly. Yes, YOU know what I'm talking about. - someone]

In any case, welcome back! :)
