Crysis 2

I haven't played much online, but it's pretty cool. The biggest thing I noticed is that it is incredibly fast paced. Even if you play other FPS shooters, the pace will definitely take some getting used to. You have to think and react a lot faster than other shooter games.

Anyone actually played this game? The strange this is, nobody in my environment talks about it. But back then, everyone talked about Crysis 1. What happened? Is it a flop or something? I myself haven't bought it (yet) because it's so god damn expensive.

I think it's pretty good. There are some aspects from the first game that I miss (more open world, really destructible enviroments), but they also improved on some things too. It was an enjoyable game, and has a pretty decently sized single player campaign.

It's a very good game with a very good single player (most important for me since i don't play online shooters anymore) and i especially liked the possibility of multiple approaches to get through a level, i.e. brute force, stealth or a mix in between.

Definitely highly recommended.. story and technology (i.e. system requirements and how smooth the game works) wise i'd put it up there with Modern Warfare 2.

Whats Framerate like on PS3 & 360? I hear different things for both and after switching consoles for AC:Brotherhood due to the PS3 frame rate on it, I would like to avoid buying a dud copy of Crysis 2.

The multiplayer kinda sucks, which is a shame, because I bought it partly expecting to spend a lot of time playing MP. The campaign is great though, although you'll get very annoyed with the whole checkpoint save system the game uses once you hit higher difficulties.
