I've watched episode 1 just now on iplayer. It pissed me off. The DCI who attends as a first responder (in itself:

) is a knob, I've never called anyone 'sir' so many times as those PCs did since I was at grammar school, and I've never been addressed as 'constable' by some snippy DCI. 'Mate' is usually fine.
And that little trick the DI played on the wife telling her one thing then denying all knowledge? Brilliant plan, except that all custody suites have A/V recording on every inch of the place for exactly that reason.
Now it's not the first show to get the jsutice system wrong, and I can look past that, but the woman who plays the wide was on
This Morning, erm, this morning, talking about how it's supposed to be this great insight into the justice system and a woman's experience of it. So
some attempt at accuracy would be nice.
Before we even got started, Joe QC would have got a disciplinary for the way he did that closing argument.
