Crashed Dominion ship in Rocks and Shoals

ISB seemed to want to make the war a long, tough slog, and this episode confirms that there would be no magic bullets that will bring the war to an end: no sleep command to disarm the enemy.

Except in "Sacrifice of Angels", :rommie::rommie::rommie:.

Yep, they really won that war quickly, and when he went back to Earth, there was a big fireworks show!!! Of course, Nog started running marathons, Dax had six kids in between studying wormholes, Garak became the hottest fashion designer on Cardassia, Sisko got a promotion to admiral (and got to be in the movies!), and Odo finally learned how to make a real face. That last one-and-a-half seasons were filled with laughs and joy, all thanks to the prophets, wouldn't you say?

Thanks to the Prophets, they actually did win relatively fast after that. Just a season and a half later it was all done.

Well, the Prophets are sentient beings too. They have an interest in the War as well.

The Prophets were glorified gatekeepers. They closed the gate.

If I were the Prophets I would have closed that gate a long time ago!

"No, you can't have the Gamma Quadrant until you learn to play nicely together." :techman:

This episode was brilliant. Sure, the set up is contrived.. but in some ways all episodes have a somewhat contrived set up - but what matters is what is done.. what story is told with that set up. This episode, it's just perfect
