Actually, if The Avengers were to gross $400 million in the U.S., that would give Warner Bros. plenty of motivation to try a similar idea. There is no reason for Warners to make a costly Justice League movie right now or any time in the future. Batman in his own movie already makes one billion worldwide.

I know. I lowered the bar because I don't think superhero movies will ever again top the box office of The Dark Knight.Actually, if The Avengers were to gross $400 million in the U.S., that would give Warner Bros. plenty of motivation to try a similar idea. There is no reason for Warners to make a costly Justice League movie right now or any time in the future. 400 million? That's it? The Dark Knight was able to make 500 million in the US.![]()
Everything rests on Batman.
I'd be cool with that. I like the Green Arrow. Make him look less Robin Hood and I don't think the average filmgoer would have a problem with him. Though by the time he shows up, they'll probably consider him a ripoff of The Avengers' Hawkeye.Or just bring in Green Arrow instead of Batman...
I'll go you one further. How about a Justice League without Batman OR Superman? Especially if you let Wonder Woman fly, that's a plenty high-powered team right there. With Superman, there's always the invincibility problem, not to mention the dilution of concept damage to the character itself. But I'm sure a Justice league movie with Superman,Green Lantern, Flash and Wonder Woman with maybe Huntress is probably the best possibility
