FINNEY: What? (totally losing it) Why did you do that?! Why did you bring her here?! I'll kill you!!
(Kirk takes his opportunity to grapple with the bigger man. There's a fight in which Kirk's shirt gets torn. Finney swings at Kirk with a wrench, but finally has his lights punched out.)
Kirk [OC]: Beaten and sobbing, Finney told me where he had sabotaged the prime energy circuits.
[Jefferies tube]
Kirk [OC]: The damage he'd caused was considerable, but not irreparable. With luck, I would be able to effect repairs before our orbit decayed completely.
(For repairs, read pulling cables out of junction boxes.)

Areel (glances at the bridge crew going about their business): Do you think it would cause a complete breakdown of discipline if a lowly lieutenant kissed a starship captain on the bridge of his ship?
