I'll use The Reflex, by Duran Duran

You've gone too far this time - YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR, THIS TIME! (enter threat force name)
But I'm dancing on the Valentine- But I'll be dancing on your heart by the end of the fight!
I tell you somebody's fooling around - I tell ya, somebody's been fooling round with the transporter again, aye.
With my chances on the danger line - With my chances, I'm always on the danger line Admiral.
I'll cross that bridge when I find it - I'll cross the circuits to Panel B and C when I find Panel A
Another day to make my stand, oh woah - Another day comes to make my stand, and return my honor.
High time is no time for deciding - High time is no time for deciding when the warp engines have come off the pylons.
If I should find a helping hand, oh woah - If I should find a helping hand in this land of sand, swallow my pride and offer a grand.
Why don't you use it? - Why don't you use it? My teacher told to me wait until my chances were on the danger line.
Try not to bruise it - Try not to bruise the fruit.
Buy time, don't lose it - Quick, buy more time on the wheel, don't lose it.

The reflex is a lonely child, who's waiting by the park - The myth goes, a lonely child, waiting by the park...
The reflex is in charge of finding treasure in the dark ...- has a bizarre lucky clover that can find treasure in the dark.
And watching over lucky clover, isn't that bizarre?
And every little thing the reflex does - Everything the Reflex does leaves us answered with a question mark.
Leaves you answered with a question mark
I'm on a ride and I want to get off - "where are you?" "I-I'm on this shuttle craft and I want off, now."
But they won't slow down the roundabout -NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO, THEY CAN'T TAKE DOWN THE ENTERPRISE!
Don't wanna be around when this gets out - Wee, really don't wanna be around when this, thing, or whatever it is, gets out.

I did this in the last story I posted here. No one noticed.

Quote "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town";

"He knows when you are sleeping,
He knows when you're awake.
He knows if you've been bad or good
so be good for goodness' sake!"

Quote The Sleeper in "The Long Winter's Nap":

"It's dormant when I'm sleeping! It attacks when I'm awake! He'll kill you all to keep me safe! Put me back, for goodness' sake!!"

This is kind of fun. Maybe I'll do some more.

I also remembered there was a similar thread in General Trek about rewriting songs to focus on Trek characters, and I submitted this ditty:

(To the tune of Queen's "Flash")

KIRK! AAH-AAAAH!
Savior of the universe!

KIRK! AAH-AAAAH!
He'll save every one of us!

KIRK! AAH-AAAAH!
He's a miracle!

KIRK! AAH-AAAAH!
King of the impossible!

He's for every one of us
Stand for every one of us
He'l fight with a mighty hand
Every Gorn, every Klingon
Every Khan, it's the Mighty Kirk!

(What do you mean, "James Kirk is approaching"???)
(Open fire, all disruptors!)
(Dispatch a Bird of Prey to retrieve his body!)

KIRK! AAH-AAAAH!

(Kirk! Still alive, old friend?)

KIRK! AAH-AAAAH!
He'll save every one of us!

Just a man, with a man's courage
You know he's nothing but a man
Who doesn't like to lose
No one but the pure of heart
can beat the Kobayashi Maru
Oh-oh, oh-oh

KIRK!

You know Dasher and Dancer And Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid And Donner and Blitzen. But do you recall. The most famous reindeer of all?

You know Potempkin and Akira And Excelsior and Yorktown, Decatur and Voyager And Lexington and Defiant. But do you recall. The most famous Starship of all?

You know that song about the gambler and playing cards, I know what the song was intended for but just can't shake the idea that you could fit that to an alien invasion movie. For me the lyrics just seemed to fit the idea.

When the night has come, we will see many unknown's, and when the land is dark, we will hear many unknown noises, and when the moon is the only light we'll see, we will see their eyes.

No, I won't be afraid.
Oh, what just brushed past my leg? I won't be afraid.
Just as long as I this phaser, hand your phaser to me.

When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we'll see

No, I won't be afraid
Oh, I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand, stand by me.
